Not really a fan of the headline (having a psychological disorder does not equal “crazy”), but I’m having a “chicken or the egg” moment with this study. Are people drawn to creative pursuits because of pre-existing psychological conditions, or does the act of creative thinking, which forces consciousness to a different level, trigger a psychological chain reaction? As a creative person with depression, I genuinely want to know.
